Projects: Romanian-German cooperation in the field of micro- and nanotechnologies (MNT)

Romanian � German Centre for Micro- and Nanotechnologies

Contract: The project of a Romanian-German Centre for micro- and nanotechnologies (MNT) has been launched in Bucharest, Romania, on February 15, 2006, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, with the participation of Michael Guth (Zenit GmbH), Daniel Cosnita (GTZ/Inno Consult), and Peter Hahn (VDI/VDE IT). This project is based on a contract between IMT and GTZ.

The activities within the above contract are related to building a Romanian-German partnership in the field, as follows:

analysing the Romanian industry in order to identify the needs related to MNT;
identify the potential users (innovative SMEs, Technology Transfer and Innovation infrastructures, RTD teams) and provide consultancy for in initiating a cooperation;

disseminate information related to technological services available in Romania and in Europe, with a special emphasizes on the possibility to access the technology from Germany and to develop partnerships with German companies;
facilitate the straightforward contact and the economical partnership between Romanian and German companies and the access of the former to the market.
