Objectives of visit:
a. Presentation of the MST-network Rhein Main and its members, with some emphasis on activities of the Technical University of Darmstadt, (by Prof. Schlaak)
b. Information exchange with academic institutions and universities, and with companies in the area of electrotechnics, microtechnology, sensors and actuators, microoptics and nanotechnology.
c. Discussions of possible common research and development interests, aimed to work out concepts for common FP 7 projects
d. Discussion and perhaps subsequent invitation on expert and student visits in both countries
e. Technical cooperation possibilities in the area of sensor production or sales, or of surface measurement equipment sales in Romania.
